Sjaak van Hal (born 1958 at Utrecht, the Netherlands) is as painter autodidact. He tries to paint directly what he sees en what moves him. Important is harmony of form and color. The picture needs to be more than a nice picture; it needs to excite and attract the attention. Sjaak preferably uses oilpaint. He enjoys most to paint portraits. His paintings are impressionestic.His goal is to catch the sphere. As classicus he loves also tot draw nd paint classic statues.
